Saran Stewart, MBA, MA is an experienced grant writer, who specializes in non-profit management and event planning. She received her MBA in marketing from Barry University and her MA in International Administration from the University of Miami.

She has written and edited both national and international grants and received awards from the City and County of Miami-Dade as well as the Health Foundation of South Florida.

She lived in Prague, Czech Republic where she worked as a Global Web Marketing Analyst and Grant Editor for one of the largest European Union’s NGO, People In Need. There she was able to edit and draft grants for their missions in Sri Lanka, Iraq and Ethiopia.

She was a mentor for at-risk, substance abuse adolescent girls at the Thelma Gibson Health Initiative and enjoys working with women and young girls in achieving their goal for self-empowerment.

She is a member of the Financial Management Association International and is currently the Program Director for Girlfriends Guild, Inc. and a consultant for Girlfriends Health, PLC.
